WSOP Circuit May Return to Deerfoot in Calgary in Next Season

The World Series of Poker Circuit is on hold during June and July, but it will kick off again later in the year. An announcement about next month’s tour stop at Deerfoot Casino isn’t likely before then!

When the World Series of Poker Circuit sent its team to Deerfoot’s poker room, they were ready. The staff anticipated good crowds and even cancelled another event so that players could watch something else instead!

And the biggest event of them all was won by a Russian player who took home more than $2M!

This year’s Deerfoot WSOPC series was not as popular with viewers, who only watched 4 thousand people enter and compute for $2 million in prizes.

The WSOP Circuit has not been included in this season’s events, but Deerfoot will likely request its return. We’ll wait until next month to find out for sure!
